Beef Tri Tips (Triangle Steaks) are not used as much on the East Coast as the West Coast but that is changing fast. This cut is a little tricky to cut because of its non-symmetrical shape, but you'll get the hang of it. Each piece is about 1.6 lbs. This steak is awesome!
This is a "steak lover's steak." Kinda like a "goal scorer's goal" in hockey.
